Sports Authority stores still open across the United States
In April 2016, it was announced that Sport’s Authority would be closing all of its stores across the United States. This left many people wondering which stores were still open and which ones were already closed.
As of June 2017, there are still a handful of Sport’s Authority stores open across the United States. The following states have at least one store still open: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Wyoming.
These stores are set to close by the end of August 2017, so if you’re looking to do some shopping at Sport’s Authority, be sure to do it soon!

As of May 2017, all stores are closed and liquidation sales are complete.
Sports Authority’s online store

The sporting goods retailer Sports Authority has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is in the process of liquidating its assets. As a result, all of the company’s stores are in the process of closing. However, there are some stores that are still open and are offering discounts on merchandise. What is happening to store employees?
All eligible store employees will receive a severance package and have the opportunity to apply for open positions at other Dick’s Sporting Goods or Field & Stream locations.
How can I use my Sports Authority gift card?
Gift cards can be used online at sportsauthority.com or in stores until August 31, 2018. After that date, gift cards will be honored at DICK’S Sporting Goods and Field & Stream locations.
What happens to my Sports Authority League Pass?
