Water Polo
Water polo is a competitive team sport played in the water between two teams. The game consists of four quarters, in which each team tries to score goals by throwing the ball into their opponents’ net.
Water polo was first played at the Summer Olympics in 1900, and has been included in every edition of the Games since 1904. There are currently men’s and women’s tournaments, with a combined total of 24 teams competing for the gold medal.
Synchronized Swimming
Synchronized swimming first became an official sport at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and has been included in every Summer Olympics since then. There are two events in synchronized swimming: solo and duet. In the solo event, each swimmer performs a routine to music of her own choice. In the duet event, two swimmers perform a routine together. Routines must be between 2:30 and 3:00 minutes long, and must include a required set of elements, such as lifts, throws, rotations, and so on.
Track and Field
Track and field is one of the oldest sports in the world and has been part of the Summer Olympics since the very first games in 1896. In 2021, there will be a total of 46 events in track and field, spread across eight different disciplines. These are:
-Athletics (43 events)
-Road running (2 events)
-Racewalking (1 event)
Soccer
As of June 2020, it is still too early to know which sports will be contested at the 2021 Summer Olympics. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is currently in the process of reviewing and ratifying new sports for inclusion in the games, as well as reviewing which existing sports will be dropped from the lineup. IOC member nations will vote on the proposed changes in December 2020, so the final list of sports for the 2021 games will not be confirmed until then.
However, we do know that soccer (or football, as it is known in many parts of the world) will definitely be included in the 2021 Summer Olympics. Soccer has been a part of the Summer Olympics since 1900, and it is one of the most popular sports in the world. In recent years, both men’s and women’s soccer have been very successful at the Olympic games, with teams from a variety of nations winning medals.
We can also expect to see other popular sports such as track and field, swimming, gymnastics, and tennis at the 2021 Summer Olympics. These sports have been part of the Olympic games for many years and always attract a large number of athletes and spectators.

Boxing
One of the most popular sports in the world, boxing will once again be contested at the Summer Olympic Games in 2021. Boxing has been a part of the Olympic program since 1904, and has produced some of the most iconic moments in Olympic history. There are ten weight classes for both men and women in boxing, ranging from flyweight (the lightest weight class) to super heavyweight (the heaviest weight class).
