New York- So, football starts up and baseball – just about everything else- gets put on the back shelf. Understandable. I figure this year, let’s do something different, something out of the box so to speak.

The U.S. Open. Tennis…It’s a MAJOR and everyone gets up for a MAJOR in any sport right? And it’s New York City.
The Yankees and the Mets have it going right now. The Mets are hitting the baseball, getting really strong pitching – David Peterson in particular.
The Yankees are healthy and finding their best stride after a roller coaster ride thru the bulk of the summer.

The Knicks and Rangers had banner years – but Championship banners is what they need to capture – really capture their fanbases. It might happen for both sooner than people think.

Football is a long, joyous ride. A 12 team playoff in College Football is a reality. The NFL is ALWAYS, ah, compelling…. Thrilling week in and week out.

Labor Day is upon us. The crispy air -sans the next 5 days – is refreshing.
Talk shows flow with an abundance of stories and content. Sports fans are juiced. Fantasy leagues are bursting and gaming revenue – like it or not – is setting records each year.
